LO2: Legal and ethical considerations

Copyright is a legal means of protecting an author’s work. (https://www.techterms.com/definition/copyright).
I will not be needing any copyright permissions in my project as I will not be using any models or locations that are copyrighted or require permissions to use. I will be using natural landscapes of Sheffield in my images, which are free for all to see.

Model release is a legal release typically signed by the subject of a photograph granting the permission to publish the photograph in one form or another. – (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_release).
For my project I will not be needing to gain permission to take my photos, as the places where I am planning to take them are public places with no non-obvious restrictions on what I can’t take photos of.

Misrepresentation is a case of misunderstanding something or (interpreting it incorrectly). – (https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/misinterpretation).
It is important that I don’t misrepresent a scene as I don’t want to show what’s in the image in the wrong format or context.
